Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Asheboro

The staff were very friendly & I was pleasantly surprised by the free breakfast because it was actually good! You can make your own waffles, they have a few different types of eggs, sausage & bacon, toast, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, milk & coffee. I'm sure I'm probably forgetting some, but it was very nice & they have a sitting area you can eat in down in the lobby area. Our room was clean & the offered housekeeping during your stay if you wanted. The pool & spa is closed but you can use the indoor pool & spa at their sister hotel across the street if you want. I definitely recommend this hotel.

It was a very nice stay generally and was as expected. My major negative was the inability to get Marriott rewards the reason given was my rewards number or customer number was incorrect. This has happened before and I can’t seem to get it straightened out. The other issue was the facility was hard to find especially in the dark. I had to drive by it three times before arriving. It is off the main road behind other hotels and businesses.

The hot breakfast was wonderful. So many options! The staff was very kind and courteous. We had requested a pack and play for our baby and it was ready and set up in our room when we arrived.

Our room was very clean, great bed! The breakfast was very nice, many choices. The location was perfect for our visit to the NC Zoo. There is an indoor pool and excercise room to use also. Many good restaurants close by.
